On Arizona's Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) Program

1 ) What is the Efficiency Arizona HEAR Program?

The HEAR program offers rebates to homeowners for purchasing and installing energy-efficient home appliances and electrification equipment such as ENERGY STAR® Certified all-climate heat pumps. This initiative aims to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

2)Who is eligible?

• Low-income households (earning up to 80% of the area median income) may be eligible to receive up to 100% of the costs covered, not to exceed $8,000 for an ENERGY STAR Certified heat pump.

• Middle-income households (earning between 80% to 150% of the area median income) may be eligible to receive up to 50% of project cost, not to exceed $8,000 for an ENERGY STAR Certified heat pump.

• The HEAR Multifamily Pilot Program will also be available, launching in late 2025.

3)How do I find out what I may qualify for?

Based on some basic information about you, we'll match you with programs in your area that offer incentives to significantly reduce the cost of going electric.

From there, you and your contractor will be able to complete the rebate process.
